UID Registry
Import IUID Labels
Import IUID Labels let's you load the list of IUID labels for equipment given to you by the government into eQuip
- Go to ASSETS>Add Assets > UID Registry
- Choose Import IUID Labels
- Choose the Browse button and locate the file that you want
- The information from the flat file that you chose loads
- Choose the Issuing Agency Code for the correct construct from the first dropdown list
- Choose the Data Identifier from the second dropdown list
- Choose Save
Print IUID Labels
This workflow allows you to print IUID labels for the assets with embedded IUID information based on the information in the flat file that you imported in the previous workflow and the values that you selected
- Go to ASSETS>Add Assets > UID Registry
- Choose Print IUID Labels
- As indicated in the Print IUID Labels window that opens the Thermal Label Client Print Utility must be downloaded and installed in order to successfully print the labels
- Choose the Installation dropdown

- The Installation is also referred to as the Site in eQuip
- The Installation is also referred to as the Site in eQuip
- Pick the correct Installation from the list
- Here it is possible to print the labels for the assets that were imported

- Choose the Direct Print of Labels button

- The print dialog will open
- Follow the instructions to print the labels
- The labels include the following information

- The EID (Enterprise Identifier)
- The P/N (Part Number)

- The S/N (Asset Serial Number)
- The S/N (Asset Serial Number)

Convert To Assets
This workflow allows you to convert the equipment information that was imported using the flat file that was provided to you by the government into actual assets in eQuip
- Go to ASSETS>Add Assets > UID Registry
- Choose Convert To Assets
- Choose the Installation dropdown
- Pick the correct Installation from the list
- The information that will be saved to the assets appears at the bottom of the window

- DI – Data Identifier

- IAC – Issuing Agency Code
- Description – Asset Name
- Part # - Original Part Number
- Serial # - Asset Serial Number
- Location – The location of the asset

- TagType – The type of tag (paper or metal)
- Choose the Convert To Asset checkbox
- To finish creating the assets in eQuip:

- Choose the Site and Asset Category for the assets that you are going to create from the dropdown lists

- You can choose to create only a portion of the assets in the list with these values or all of the assets in the list with these values

- Check the boxes for the assets that you want to create
- Choose the Convert To Asset button
