How to use build assemblies in eQuip.

Build Assemblies 

• Go to ASSETS> Utilize Assets Build Assemblies 
  

• Choose Create New Assemblies   
  

• Fill in values for at least the required fields on the asset form 

• • The asset fields that have a blue font for the asset field name will be updated in bulk on the assets in the container 
    

• Failure to enter a value for the required fields before choosing Save will result in a message like the one below 

• • It is not possible to save the container without entering a value for every required field 
    

• When finished entering field values choose Save and then choose Next 
  

• On the next screen choose the link for the container that we just created 
  

•  The Selected Assembly information will then be populated 
  

• After entering the information in the search fields choose Search   
  

• Once you find the part that you want to add to the assembly click the checkbox next to the asset name 

• • This will select the asset to be added as a child 
  • Choose Add Child 
    

• If there is an asset that you need to remove from your list: 

• • Check the box for the asset 
  • Choose the Remove button 
    

• Once you have all the parts that you would like to add choose Build Assembly 

• • You will receive a system message: Assembly Build successfully. 

• • You will be back at the Build Assembly screen
