How to Unlink a Parent and Child Asset in eQuip

This article will explain how to break a Parent and Child link

Navigate to Assets > Add Assets > Add Edit Assets ( Note this may vary from customer to customer) Usually, an Add/Edit form will have this capability.

Enter the Barcode of the Parent Asset and Click Search

On the right-hand side of the screen, all of the child assets will populate.  Click on the asset to be removed and choose "Remove Link"

Please note that both child and parent assets must be active.
