Search For People – Add People
This document walks through the process of adding new people in eQuip using the Search For People workflow
- Go to SEARCH > Search For People
- On the next screen choose Add People
- On the next screen enter or choose values for at least the required fields

- People Name
- People Category
- Site
- User Name is not required but if one exists for the new person you can choose an eQuip user login from the dropdown list to associate it
- Enter the name of the individual

- Usually first name and last name
- Choose Select Category.
- Choose the Site that the new person will be associated with from the dropdown list
- If an eQuip login exists for the new person choose it from the User Name dropdown list
- Choose the Personnel Data tab
- There is additional optional information on the Personnel Data tab to complete if necessary
- When you are finished entering information for the new person choose Save
The new person now exists in eQuip and assets can be assigned to this person as necessary
